in this day of age in modern football, every team seems to be spending more on players every year upon year with prices of players slowly rising to reach crazy prices , for example in the 2012/13 season  Chelsea bought unknown young Belgian Eden hazard from Lille for a measly £10 million, after 7 successful seasons, over 250 appearances and 85 goals, Chelsea sold him for a whopping £150 million, which handed them a profit of £140 million. over the years the prices steadily rode to what they are today…

teams nowadays also have a stupid reputation of so called “panic buying” , which is basically when the team hasn’t properly thought their options through and then goes ahead and buys someone who is either overpriced or a nobody.

a prime example of this is when Liverpool bought young Newcastle boy, Andy Carroll for a massive £35 million for the young Toon who didn’t live up to his price tag, he contributed to only 9 goals in 47 appearances before being loaned to Sam Allardcye’s west ham within 6 months of joining the reds, this is an excellent example of a team waiting the whole transfer window to buy a flop youngster…
